Every once in a while, something really special comes along – like THE SOURCE food and drink trade show, in collaboration with the renowned Taste of the West organisation. We could celebrate the quality of the producers and their products on display, the authentic ingredients and cooking methods used, the recipes inspired by chefs from award winning restaurants ... But, we just want buyers to come along and taste and find out for themselves.
This unique blend of south west speciality, with flavours from farther afield provides buyers from the region and beyond, with the opportunity to network with colleagues, taste the diverse range of food and drink products on offer, keep abreast with latest industry developments and secure unique and highly desirable ranges for their establishments!
The trade show welcomes buyers from a broad base: retail outlets such as delicatessens and farm shops, supermarkets and tourist attractions. Hospitality and food service; from cafes, restaurants, hotels, pubs and guest houses, to procurement within public sector organisations such as schools and hospitals.
A mix of food and drink producers, and food service providers. Companies can exhibit whether they are from the South West, other parts of the UK, or overseas. This event provides the perfect environment in which to showcase new ranges to existing customers and also to make new contacts. Click here to see who took part in 2010.
For exhibitors, these events provide a superb opportunity to show off their newest products, meet and look after existing customers and forge strong business relationships with new ones.
Matthew Childs of The Bath Pig was over the moon with the response to their chorizo products at the recent event, and even wished it hadn’t been so good, commenting that “We will struggle to keep up with the demand!
First time exhibitors Sargies Cornish Kitchen had an extremely successful show with “some really good leads and orders in the first day” while Devon based Midfields Granola have secured even more new customers and orders since the show. Owner Sharon Davies also used it as an opportunity to “…network and pick up all sorts of ideas from other exhibitors.”
